Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D
Saturday I got to go see Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D at the Cinemark movie theater in Plano. I got to go because earlier this week I earned my Green Belt in Taekwondo. So, to celebrate all of my hard work, my dad took me and my friend Jonathan to the movies.
It was so much fun! First, we picked up Jonathan at his house then we went to the movie theater. We bought our tickets, got our 3D glasses and went to watch the movie. We got good seats and sat down to watch. We snuck in our own snacks so we wouldn’t get hungry during the movie. Jonathan brought gummies and I brought trail mix. Then we heard the Star Wars music start and the movie began.
It was a long movie, but I loved it! My favorite part was when Darth Maul got cut in half. I also liked the pod racing, especially in 3D. Anakin was cool and at the end of the movie he was training to be a Jedi.
When the movie was over we dropped Jonathan off at his house. I got to play for a while and I got to see Jonathan jump off the stairs. His mom would only let him jump from the second step, but he had some fun jumps.
After we left Jonathan’s house we stopped at Taco Bueno to get some tacos, since the movie was right at lunch time. We went home, ate our tacos and told mom and Brennan all about the movie.
I Just Earned My Green Belt
On Tuesday I earned my Green belt in Taekwondo!

The Dirt Pile
When my grandpa built his new shop he graded the hill to make a smooth entrance on the side. He moved a lot of dirt, and this is the dirt pile that was left. It was a lot of fun to play on!!
The Drive to Gulf Shores
We had a great time on the car ride to Gulf Shores. Dad rented a big SUV for the trip which made it more fun. First, we drove from McKinney to Bunkie, LA to stay at my great grandpa’s house. It was a long ride that took all day! We left at 10:00am and got to Bunkie at about 6:00pm. We got to eat grilled chicken at a local restaurant, then we did some shopping at Piggly Wiggly. It was the first time that I ever went to Piggly Wiggly.
We got up early the next morning and we drove from Bunkie to New Orleans, LA. On the way, we crossed the Mississippi River just outside of Baton Rouge. It was the first time I ever saw this great river, and we got to drive across a really neat, old bridge. We stopped in New Orleans to eat lunch at Mother’s Restaurant which was really neat. Dad and I shared some shrimp and collard greens, but I didn’t eat the collard greens because I didn’t like them very much. The coleslaw was good, though, and the shrimp were fantastic! After lunch we walked to the Mississippi River and got to see an old timey river boat with a big paddle wheel. We stopped at the Riverwalk mall for a few minutes, then got back in the car to drive to Gulf Shores.
It took a long time to drive to Gulf Shores, but along the way we saw a big wild fire and we got to see Mobile Bay. We got there at about 6:30pm and got the keys to our condo. We drove to the condo and got unpacked.
That night we got to see the beach for the first time. It was great to be walking on the sand and playing in the ocean water again. After a quick stop on the beach we went back to Bruno’s to buy our groceries and get some dinner. It was a late night, but I stayed up because I was having so much fun!
Water Rockets – Bigger Than You’d Expect
Cozumel, Mexico
We are gonna talk about the little hermit crab I found. I named him Hermey. He was a little cuter I found on the way back to my room. I saw him sometimes when walking by. He had little pinchers for pinching his food. He never pinched me with them.
I miss him, and I want to go back to Mexico to see him again. He might like to see Brennan too. We might get the same room we got last time so I could find him again. I can’t wait to see him again.
